WEBSITE UPDATE
Any questions from the website goes to Linda Linn for a response. Minutes are being added to the website, but we could really use some correspondence to add to this. Any articles would be greatly appreciated.
NOMINATION COMMITTEE REPORT FOR ANNUAL MEETING
There wasn’t a report. The board needs to find someone from the District 1 area. Skip Moore is going to ask someone from this area. It was suggested if this person was interested but wanted
to just observe a meeting first that we would pay her mileage.
BENEFITS ADVISORY MEETING
Andrew Hennesy provided handouts from this meeting. Earnings were down midyear but less than nationwide. Our performance was the best of any in the nation. Legislation passed and there won’t be any state taxes on pensions which is good for us but hurts the cities and counties. COLA; no increase as it takes legislative action to do this. Plus we are still working to be fully funded within 20 years. Andrew is requesting reimbursement of $40.04 for copies he
had printed to disperse to the board and membership.
